Famished

You have to eat. Why not try something new and build on food experience.

Finding a place to feed a few picky eaters isn't always an easy venture. We try to check out the local cuisine, but that doesn't always work out for us. You know those weekend guides that show you the best local food and the best local shopping, that is a pipe dream in my world, and Yelp, which is for single men under forty, is my worst nightmare. We eat when and where it works out, and sometimes (most of the time) that means chain food. We try to find restaurants that have adjusted to the idea that children exist. If they don't want to cater to families, I have no quorum, and we move on. They probably have received a few exasperating looks from me. So check out some kid-friendly, special need tested restaurants that have made our cut.

About Us

One of my favorite photographers, Reggie Campbell, took this photo. For an instance we look like a typical family, but we're not. We deal with autism, adhd, anxiety disorder, sensory issues and dyslexia, but that doesn't stop us from discovering America. Welcome to our adventure as we explore our parks and amazing cities.
